Alanna is passionate about assisting clients with all their estate planning and probate needs.
Alanna E. Mrlik is a Paralegal and Office Manager with the Law Offices of Kristen R. Gross. She joined KRG in May, 2012, shortly after the firm opened. Alanna chose to make a career change and become a paralegal after a long and successful career in healthcare. She completed the Paralegal Certificate program at Oakland Community College in 2012.
When you call the office, more often than not, you will speak with Alanna. Whether it’s been a week or 10 years since you last called, Alanna will remember you. Alanna is passionate about assisting clients with all their estate planning and probate needs. She understands the challenges in making long term estate planning decisions as well as administering an estate and trust. For Alanna, its personal. She assisted her own parents in their estate planning process and has served as the Trustee of their trusts since their deaths in 2018 and 2019. She knows firsthand how challenging that role can be and how important it is to have proper guidance when serving as a fiduciary or planning your estate.
Alanna has been a gymnastics judge since 1989 and serves as the Treasurer on the board of directors for the Michigan National Association of Women’s Gymnastics Judges (MI-NAWGJ). She also serves on the board of directors for the Rochelle Park Condominium Association.
Alanna was a competitive gymnast and figure skater. She grew up in Connecticut, graduating from George Washington University in Washington D.C, with an undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science and masters in Health Services Administration An East Coast girl much like Kristen, she brings a similar no nonsense, practical approach in advising clients. Alanna has become an avid golfer and works out everyday.
Alanna is the proud mom of two adult children, Alexis and Justin, and two furry kids (dogs), Phoebe and Chandler.
